"SiIva Direct 4.1.2019" is a high quality stream held on April Fools' Day 2019. It was unlisted and replaced with a normal video upload after concluding.

Content[]

This stream is actually nothing like the original SiIvaDirect, despite sharing the same name.

Instead, it reveals various pieces of information relating to the King for Another Day Tournament, and announces the upcoming "Waluigi Pinball (Beta Mix) - Mario Kart DS" rip and the release of SiIvaGunner (Blue Album), in a format spoofing the Nintendo Direct, a Nintendo presentation that reveals information relating to the company's games.

Transcript[]

To open the transcript, click "Expand".

[We see an "HWCRB" "Everyone Cool" rating for "Comic Mischief", "Mild Suggestive Themes", "Blood and Gore", and "Wild Suggestive Themes". This is followed by a spoof Nintendo Switch logo with the YouTube icon and the text "YouTube Videos".

We then see a Nintendo Direct-style animation of the logo seen in the thumbnail, set to a short musical composition that incorporates "Snow halation" and "Meet the Flintstones".

[Mariya Takeuchi's reveal trailer, "Up Next...", plays, though this version does not have her character artwork.]

We see an "Introduction" title card, then cut to Chaze the Chat. Chaze is speaking gibberish and is dubbed over by a "translator".]

Chaze: Hello! I'm Chaze the Chat, founder of SiIvaGunner, [A title appears: "Chaze the Chat: Executive Gunner, SiIvaGunner"] and on behalf of the entire team, I would like to welcome you to this Silva Direct. Today, I will be delivering information about upcoming content for the SiIvaGunner channel, including the King for Another Day Tournament, directly to you.

[Title card: "Characters"]

So, we'll get right into it. As you've just been made aware, the queen of YouTube recommendations herself, Mariya Takeuchi, is joining the King for Another Day Tournament, and bringing her groovy tunes and the entire city pop and future funk genres with her!

[We see an illustration of Mariya with the caption "Mariya Takeuchi joins the fight, and the following bullet points:]

  • Rips featuring music by Mariya Takeuchi
  • Rips featuring city pop music
  • Rips featuring future funk music

This character idea comes to us straight from a fan-submitted email, and yours could be next! We've decided to extend the deadline for character submissions into April 10th, so you've got ten more days to send in your ideas! [Cut to the sample email from The Haltmann Works Co. Training Video with the caption "Submissions open until April 10th!"]

Along with Adam Levine, Quote, Johnny Bravo, Mr. Krabs, and our thirteen veterans, that's now eighteen that we've revealed so far. That's already more than the first King for a Day Tournament's sixteen, and we've still got almost half of the fighters left to reveal! Be on the lookout for more in the coming months. You'll never know when a new challenger will approach!

[Title card: "Sources"]

Now, it's time for us to talk about rip sources. We've tried our best to buff and improve characters to give everyone the best possible fighting chance, and we'd like to share just a few of them today.

[Title card: "Metal Ajit Pai"]

The character with the greatest buff is none other than Ajit Pai. Reincarnated as a mech, Metal Ajit Pat's source list has been expanded to include rips related to mechs, such as songs from the Gundam franchise. This is in addition to his sources from the previous event. Metal Ajit Pai is truly formidable this time around.

[We see an illustration of Metal Ajit Pai with the following text:]

  • Rips featuring Baauer's Harlem Shake
  • Rips featuring latency (such as slow internet)
  • Mecha-related rips
  • Rips featuring the Reese's Puffs rap

Examples of possible sources:

  • Gundam franchise
  • Online Practice Stage (SSBB)

(or other songs associated with laggy online

[Title card: ""Weird Al" Yankovic"]

Weird Al is serious this time, too! His mighty resolve to avenge his first-round loss last tournament has developed into a stand called "Beat It". This gives him the power to tap into the musical library of his most classic parody subject, Michael Jackson. However, it's worth noting that it does not give him the power of JoJokes. That'd simply be too powerful. He's also back to his original, beloved 1980s look.

[We see an illustration of Weird Al and his stand Beat It with the following text:]

  • Rips featuring songs Weird Al has composed or parodied
  • Rips featuring music by Michael Jackson

Examples of possible sources:

  • Eat It
  • Dare to Be Stupid
  • music from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles

[Title card: The Joy-Con Men]

Etika and Reggie Fils-Aimé have formed an alliance and created a powerful duo: The Joy-Con Men. Reggie was so excited for this tournament that he retired from his position at Nintendo to focus on the competition. Their source list has been completely overhauled, now containing songs from Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Animal Crossing, Wii Fit, and The Legend of Zelda. With such legendary franchises being represented, how will anyone else have a chance to react?

[We see an illustration of the Joy-Con Men with the following text:]

  • Rips featuring music from the following franchises:
    • Fire Emblem
    • Xenoblade
    • Animal Crossing
    • Wii Fit
    • The Legend of Zelda

[Title card: Quote]

The returning characters aren't the only powerful ones on the roster. Quote from Cave Story has joined the tournament, representing Studio Pixel, Nicalis, and classic indie platformers, with games such as Super Meat Boy, VVVVVV [spoken as "the letter V six times"], Kero Blaster, The Binding of Isaac, and of course Cave Story. Quote definitely won't be pulling any punches in this tournament!

[We see an illustration of Quote with the following text:]

  • Rips related to franchises published by Nicalis
  • Rips featuring music from games developed by Studio Pixel
  • Rips featuring music from classic indie platformers (2010 and earlier)

[Dr. Robotnik's reveal trailer, "A Promotion Awaits!", plays, though this version does not have his character artwork.]

[After a few seconds of a black screen, we get another title card: Time for a special announcement!]

[The infamous K-fee Car commercial screamer plays, but the SiIvaGunner (Blue Album) cover is pasted over the zombie, and the last note of the music is extended to where the scream would be so that there is no jumpscare. The text "SiIvaGunner's latest album - available now on Bandcamp!" then appears.]
