Touhou Douyouon ~ SiIver Sonata. (東方動揺音　～ SiIver Sonata., lit. "Disturbing Eastern Sound") is a high quality Touhou Project fangame released on April 1, 2017, and later became a part of The SiIvaGunner CCC ARG. It is a Touhou Danmakufu ph3 script developed by Kirbio.

Overview

SiIver Sonata is a vertical scrolling shoot 'em up much like previous Touhou Project games. The player takes on the role of Reimu Hakurei, who encounters opponents and enemies on her way to the lighthouse. SiIver Sonata is relatively short in comparison to the standard Touhou Project game, consisting of only one stage and one difficulty level (Stage S - Nice).

The plot of the game is heavily insprired by The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis and Kirby Planet Robobot, while the gameplay is reminiscent of one from Touhou: Book of Star Mythology. The in-game incident appears to happen after the event of Touhou 14.5: Urban Legend in Limbo.

Characters

SiIver Sonata consists of seven characters. They mostly originated from the Touhou Project series, with the exception of 🅱lukari 🅱lakumo, who is a recolor of an existing character; and Fuma Mishandra, who is a character from Touhou: Book of Star Mythology.

Fuma	That, Fuma doesn't know. Fuma is only here to complete the ritual Fuma needs to do from ancient times. To bring the lost Figments back to life in the sacred land of Gensokyo.
Reimu	You cannot simply fuel any imaginations to life. Having the Urban Legend Incident here is enough to deal with.

There are seven tracks in SiIver Sonata. A majority of these are rips of Touhou Project and Kirby Planet Robobot.

ss_continue.ogg		This is the rip "Puzzle Room (Rhythm Code) - Kirby Planet Robobot".
ss_credits.ogg		This is "Memories (I'll Never Forget You)" from Kirby Planet Robobot.

History

The game was initially released as an April Fools' joke on BulletForge, following a trailer uploaded on Kirbio's YouTube channel. On September 9, 2017, the game received an update which fixed performance bugs and added hidden details that would later be found in The SiIvaGunner CCC ARG. A text document titled "ss_readme.txt" is included, containing the changelog, frequently asked questions, and credits list.

• The Prismriver Sisters can be seen wielding a different instrument than in the original.
  • Lyrica plays the steel drum instead of keyboard.
  • Merlin plays the kazoo instead of trumpet.
  • Lunasa plays the midiJam drumset instead of violin.
• Sprite of Reshiram from Pokémon Black & White and an alternative background for Stage S featuring Flandre Scarlet can be found in the game's files. However, they are left unused.
