SilvaGunner (with a lowercase "L") was a YouTube channel that uploaded video game music from 2008 to 2010. This channel would later inspire the creation of GilvaSunner and, subsequently, SiIvaGunner (with an uppercase "i").
History[]
On March 7, 2008, the SilvaGunner YouTube channel was created to upload music from video games.[1] Over the next few months, the creator managed to gain a small following for this, gaining over 14 thousand subscribers and hundreds of thousands of views. By February 29, 2009, they had uploaded 6,681 videos to their channel and added a note to their channel description stating that they couldn't upload more due to work.[2] They did not upload much more after this, with a final count of around 7,000 videos, but they continued to interact with their community when they had the time to.
The SilvaGunner channel was terminated in 2010 due to copyright violations. The original creator then returned on a new channel called SilvaGunner2 and explained their situation on October 22 in the video "The Real SilvaGunner ***Please read video description for full story***". The video states that the SiIvaGunner2 account was created because they lost the password to their original backup channel, SilvaGynnwr, and due to also losing access to the SilvaGunner account, they could not dispute the termination either. The creator later regained access to SilvaGynnwr, though they no longer had motivation to upload video game music by that point.
On April 7, 2016, the original creator published a post on their blog in response to GilvaSunner (with a lowercase "L"), and GiIvaSunner (with an uppercase "i"), writing about the history of their channel. The post also revealed that they no longer have the credentials to SilvaGynnwr or SilvaGunner2.[1]

The termination of the SilvaGunner channel quickly inspired two other music uploaders, TimmyTurnersDad and BrawlBRSTM, to create a tribute account named GilvaSunner (with a lowercase "L"). This eventually led to the creation of GiIvaSunner (with an uppercase "i"). When GiIvaSunner (i) was terminated from YouTube, the team returned on a new channel named SiIvaGunner (i), as a homage to the original channel. However, the channel still aims to mimic GilvaSunner (L).
In the rip "MEGALOVANIA (Chex Mix) - Undertale", Chaze the Chat announced a backup channel under the name "SiIvaGunner (backup)". When SiIvaGunner (i) was terminated from YouTube during MAGFest 2019, this channel was quickly remodeled after SilvaGunner2 (L). It now sports the name SiIvaGunner2 (i), and its avatar is a remake of the SilvaGunner (L) avatar (which was reused for SilvaGunner2 and SilvaGynnwr), but with the Venom Snake-style eyepatch and horn from the SiIvaGunner (i) avatar. Additionally, the first SiIvaGunner2 (i) video, "The Real SiIvaGunner ***Please watch Q&A for full story***", is a parody of the first SilvaGunner2 (L) video.
