"Sky Runner - EarthBound" was a high quality rip of "Sky Runner" from EarthBound.
Jokes[]
The rip shows footage of the cutscene from EarthBound where the advertised track plays, only with the Sky Runner Jeff uses being replaced by a spaceship similar to that of The Jetsons. The music for the cutscene then switches to an EarthBound-style arrangement of The Jetsons' theme.
The rip abruptly ends with the spaceship crashing onto the ground like the original game, referencing the United Airlines Flight 93 crash from the 9/11 attacks.
History[]
This rip was uploaded on SiIvaGunner on September 11, 2016, as part of the 9/11 2016 channel event. It was removed from the channel partway through the day and later reuploaded on Flustered Fernando along with most other rips uploaded for the event.
