"Steam Gardens" is an upbeat song that plays in certain areas of the Wooded Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey. The track first debuted in the E3 2017 build of the game, albeit with placeholder instruments as the song had not been properly recorded yet. There are 2 additional variants of the song in the game: an 8-bit rendition when the player enters an 8-Bit Pipe, and a "Sherm" version that replaces the melody with a synth track when the player captures the Sherm enemy. The song would later appear in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
