This rip was originally uploaded to GiIvaSunner as "Overworld - Super Mario Bros."[2] on February 28, 2016,[3] which would make this the first use of the Chicken and Chips meme before its use in the SilvaGunner: Rebooted 1st Anniversary event established it as a recurring joke (which is also by the date to be early uploaded for Season 2). The GiIvaSunner upload orginally included the drum beat of "Chicken and Chips". It was then reuploaded as "Overworld (Beta Mix) - Super Mario Bros." on June 9 without the drum beat, and renamed to its current title on August 12 or August 13.
The first title change resulted in a version swap with "Super Mario Bros. Music - Ground Theme", which was originally titled "Overworld (Beta Mix) - Super Mario Bros.", and the second title change occurred across all of the existing Super Mario Bros. rips to replicate the GilvaSunner titling convention for the game.
