"Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct 8.8.2018" is a high quality rip of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct from August 8, 2018.

The video starts with an ESRB rating of "RP - M", followed by a Nintendo Switch logo, then the usual opening used for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate character trailers.

The video fades into another round of the spoof "EVORE Vorarephilia Championships" tournament from the "VS MODE - M.U.G.E.N". This rip is faithfully recreates the format of recorded EVO tournaments, with a series of mostly spoof sponsors. The tagline for the event is "The most delicious fighting game tournament in the world".

In a game of Super Smash Bros. Melee, Glugs (aka "Glug") and Chewdat (aka "Chew") are going against each other as Yoshi and Kirby, respectively, two characters who are known to swallow enemies. The stage chosen is Brinstar, due to its flowing acid hazard. The players' characters eat each other a lot during the fight.

At 1:45, a "vore counter" shows up, being at 4. Every time Yoshi eats Kirby or vice versa, the counter goes up. However, it stops at 7.

The winner of the game is Chew, the announcement of which the commentators freak out about.
