"Termination [FILE-02] - Haltmann's Archives" is a lore video and the second "file" in Haltmann's Archives. It documents the termination and eventual transformation of the GiIvaSunner character into SiIvaGunner.

Summary

The video opens with a dated display with President Haltmann's logo on it showing this message in yellow text:

[Haltmann's Archives]

FILE-02

[TERMINATION]

While text appears on the screen, scanlines move up the display similar to that of a cathode-ray television. A yellow arrow pointing downwards prompts a pause between each block of text, similar to the dialogue systems of most video games. The text continues the origins of GiIvaSunner, and his transformation into SiIvaGunner. GiIvaSunner's channel received its first copyright strike on April 5, 2016. Determined to find the culprit, GiIvaSunner abducts seven suspects and interrogates them. One of them is

[Dinkleberg]

, a high-ranking crime lord. Once abroad a plane above the Pacific Ocean, Dinkleberg reveals himself as Angry Joe, who admits to have filed a copyright strike out of jealousy. Joe manages to injure GiIva and file a copyright strike, destroying the channel. GiIva becomes lifeless and slides out of the plane, which crashes with no survivors.

GiIva washes up in the Netherlands, where Chad Warden buys him for $599 USD. Chad creates the SiIvaGunner channel, prompting the statue to awaken once more and adopt the name "SiIvaGunner". Chad and SiIva team up, with Chad financing SiIva's new house, eye patch, and computer, and SiIva continuing to rip video game music.

. Joe filed a

[Copyright Strike]

against GiivaSunner out of jealousy.

Joe and his larger plane have been tailing GiivaSunner's this whole time, and an assault is staged on Giiva. In the resulting fight, he loses his eye and has a piece of shrapnel lodged inside his head.
Soon enough, Joe has Giiva on the edge.

Joe files a

[Copyright Strike]

on the spot, and just like that, GiivaSunner's channel is terminated.

GiivaSunner himself stops moving - as if the two were linked.

The now lifeless statue slides out of the plane, into the depths below, and Joe escapes, never to be seen again for the time being.

The plane crashes with no survivors.

The lifeless statue once known as GiivaSunner is fished out of a local harbor.

None of the locals are able to tell what it is.

The statue is once again put up for auction, and it is sold to none other than

[Chad Warden]

, for $599 USD.

Chad Warden takes the statue home and realizes just who he is.

Thinking he can ride off his coattails, Chad creates a new YouTube account:

[SilvaGunner]

.

The moment the account is created, the statue comes back to life.

"I am SilvaGunner. I only upload high quality video game rips."

Unlike the incident in

[FILE-01]

, Chad Warden is somehow not killed.

Perhaps SilvaGunner knew that Chad saved his life?

Chad allies with the all-new SilvaGunner, and proceeds to buy him his own house, alongside a new computer and eyepatch, and thus, he resumes ripping.

Trivia

  • The events discussed in the episode mirror the actual takedown of the channel, though no copyright strikes were actually filed before the channel was taken down.
  • The in-universe scene on the plane is depicted in the video "A Big Announcement".
  • The mention of "$599 USD" is a reference to Chad Warden saying that the Playstation 3 is cheap at $599.
  • The text spells "GiIvaSunner" with two lowercase i's, and "SiIvaGunner" with an L instead of two i's.
