"The Goblin Dance" was released by Sam Westphalen on YouTube on July 15, 2007, with the song in background composed by Sam. The visuals tell a story of an explorer who discovers a cave. The explorer goes deeper into the cave and discovers 3 dancing goblins. The goblins capture the explorer and trap him into a cage, and the video ends with the goblins continuing to dance whilst in front of the cage.
The video would become infamous in the Vinesauce community, with Vinny's Twitch chat commonly spamming an emoji of a goblin dancing. They would commonly spam this emoji during his streams of Cyberpunk 2077, mainly when the song "Pain" from the game would play.

"The Goblin Dance" is a yearly tradition on the channel, with it always appearing at least once during the annual Halloween event. All of the annual rips featuring the song are typically arrangements, with them containing the visuals of the original video and some also being titled under tracks relating to caves. Some of the rips contain custom made visuals that recreate the original video for "The Goblin Dance". An example of this is "Pain - Cyberpunk 2077", which also references the Vinesauce joke. These rips are typically made by ricesnot.
Outside of the annual rips, the source only has a few cameos on the channel. It appeared in the first "SiIvaGunner SmashUp!" with a special fight dedicated to the goblins fighting the explorer. It appeared in the second SmashUp alongside other Halloween fighters. It also has a dedicated ending in the Mr. Rental pick a side videos from The Susie ARG.
