"The Mine Song" is a song from LazyTown and a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

Overview

"It's Mine", also called "The Mine Song" is a song from LazyTown. It was featured in the episode "Dear Diary", and is Stingy's signature song. The song is a variation of "Nenni Níski" from the original 1996 Áfram Latibær! play which LazyTown is based on. It became a popular internet meme after "We Are Number One", with most edits using the same "X but Y" format as its predecessor due to the frequent usage of the word "mine" within the song.

Prior to the Season Mine, it was featured sporadically in four rips, first with an indirect reference in the medley rip "Main Menu - Pokémon Stadium (Pirate)", then properly as a solo melody change in "Title Theme - Mario's Time Machine (NES)".

The song was used heavily within Season Mine and Season Mine Episode 2 to represent the host of the takeover, Stingy. The vast majority of rips from this point on are mashups, using arranged instruments from "The Mine Song". The FL Studio recreation was released to Ripping Resources on February 27, 2025.

The events were likely developed in relation to "We Are Number One", also from LazyTown, being a meme in Season 1. LazyTown: The Video Game, a fake game previously used for "We Are Number One", was reintroduced to post rips of "The Mine Song" directly as well as other LazyTown songs, and another fake game, Stingy's Treehouse, based on Robbie Rotten's Ice Cream Stand used for "We Are Number One", was introduced to make rips featuring "The Mine Song".

A notable rip featuring the song is "SEQ_MINE - LazyTown (DS) (Unreleased)", which is a custom Nintendo DS arrangement of it. This arrangement was later featured with additional jokes in subsequent rips of the fake track "SEQ_MINE". The FLP for the arrangement was released to Ripping Resources on February 9, 2025.

In between the two events, it was featured 6 times, which besides "Return of Magolor, the Wayfarer" and "SiIvaGunner SmashUp! 2", were all during other channel events.
