The video is in the style of a documentary. A man named Flint, a resident of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, is interviewed about an incident he experienced in 1966. While walking down a road, he caught a glimpse of a creature and he has been in fear ever since. The narrator states that these creatures are known as cryptids, and the one Flint saw was known as the Mothman. Wanting answers, Flint hires a group of cryptid hunters (shown in silhouettes, leaving their identities a secret) to find the Mothman.

NARRATOR:
Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
It's another quiet night in this small town of 6,000. Flint is an average teenager, walking on a local stone trail while listening to his favorite high quality video game rips. However, what seems like another uneventful night is about to take a frightening turn.
FLINT, LOCAL WEIRD OLD MAN:
I thought I was just seeing things. I was thinking, "There's no way it could've been real, right?" Those wings. Those... red eyes. I don't think I can ever unsee that.
NARRATOR:
What Flint is describing is a creature he saw that night. A type of creature known as a cryptid. Cryptids are creatures similar to those found in some urban legends. People may claim to see them, but there is no physical proof that they exist. There have been many alleged sightings of cryptids in the past, but this one is different.
FLINT:
Once I got close, I noticed it had a fur-like texture and colorful wings. And just when I thought I'd seen it all, I saw what looked like a UFO in the sky, looming above us and playing strange music. I let out a gasp, and the creature turned, screeched, and then flew away... sort of like a moth.
NARRATOR:
This wasn't some ordinary urban legend. This was one of the most infamous cryptids of all time; the Mothman. Flint isn't the first one to have seen him, as countless reports from around that time all documented encounters with that mysterious creature.
FLINT, DEFINITELY CRAZY OLD GUY:
Ever since that experience, I haven't been able to shake off the feeling that he'd be back one day. I could tell he was here for a purpose, and lately, I've been feeling his presence again. I don't know if I'm crazy, but... I need closure! I need... answers!
NARRATOR:
Flint has hired a team of cryptid hunters to go out and prove the Mothman's existence once and for all. We'll give updates on the findings next week, but until then, stay safe, stay indoors and just hope you don't encounter the infamous Mothman.
