The SiIvaGunner Halloween Horror Special Part VI: The Cult of Proto was a channel event on the SiIvaGunner channel celebrating Halloween, and the sixth installment in the SiIvaGunner Spooktacular Halloween Horror Special series of the previous years. It was accompanied by the story arc The Cult of Proto.

Summary[]

During the event, the avatar and banner were changed to illustrations in the style of the visuals in The Cult of Proto. The avatar initially showed SiIvaGunner dressed in occult attire with the cult's logo in his eyepatch, while the banner shows the regular lighthouse of New Engrand in place of the Tengami lighthouse, with the area underneath showing a dark room with four candles around a pentagram.

Rips uploaded during this event featured themes of Halloween and horror, with prominent usage of "Pirate Island" from Baby Felix Halloween, "Bloody Mary" by Lady Gaga, and "Underworld Map", as well as the channel's returning Halloween event motifs, such as "Haunted House", "Kyun! Vampire Girl", and David S. Pumpkins. Additionally, the channel also allowed submissions featuring one or more of the following themes, though most rips uploaded before November 1 focused on the traditional Halloween themes:

Rips related to fictional cults and cult leaders
Rips related to computer viruses
Rips related to computer errors and system sounds
Rips featuring Protegent
Rips of Windows operating systems

Rips were initially uploaded hourly. The video description's catchphrase for this event before November 1 was changed to "I have read the channel description, and even the skies of spring and flowers of summer must ever afterward be poison to me.", a play on a quote from H.P. Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu.

The avatar used after the release of "BOOK III: The Ritual".

After the release of "BOOK III: The Ritual - The SiIvaGunner Halloween Horror Special Part VI: The Cult of Proto", the following changes occurred:

The avatar was changed to show the reincarnated Proto.
Rips were uploaded every 30 minutes, then every 15 minutes on November 2, with some variations throughout.
Most rips uploaded featured Protegent and the computer-related themes, in additional to the traditional Halloween themes.
The catchphrase was changed to ""Please read the channel description" is my motto", referencing "The Protegent Rap". On November 3, it was changed to "Channel description is not enough, you need Protegent™, world's only antivirus with data recovery software.", referencing the Protegent advertisement "3D Animated Character AV" by Screwdriver Films.

After a two-day break following "Underworld Map Fusion Collab", the album PROTONOMICON ~ The Cult of Proto Collection was announced and released on November 5. This was followed by another break, with very few uploads in the following days.

On November 7, alongside the rip "Sunset Heights (OST Version) - Sonic Forces", the banner and avatar were changed back to normal, except with Tito Dick missing from the lighthouse. Regular uploads resumed on November 9, at 4:00 PM PST.

Trivia[]

Unlike the previous events in the SiIvaGunner Spooktacular Halloween Horror Special series, this event's name has "SiIvaGunner" spelled with an uppercase i rather than a lowercase L.
This is the only installment that doesn't use the word "Spooktacular" in the title.
After the event's submission guidelines were published, "Anything related to the Protegent Rap" was removed from the banlist in The High Quality Emailing Guide.
