This rip is a fully-animated spoof of the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!. In the "episode", Wood Man invites a Mystery Inc. made up of Princess Heavy, Takane Shijou, The Joke-Explainer™ 7000, Unregistered HyperCam 2, the Minion, and Wolfgirl into his mansion, where they meet several other guests. Soon, however, Wood Man receives a disturbing, mysterious phone call. Later in the night, Wood Man disappears from his room, someone is murdered, and the 8-Bit Beast prowls the halls. Will the gang crack this case open before it's too late?

[We open on a spoof of the classic Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! title cards, with one of the silhouettes based on LuckyLuciano17k, set to a mm2woodarrangement of the title card theme, reading "The SilvaGunner Spooktacular Halloween Horror Special Part III: A Murder Not Too Nice".]
[The episode proper begins. "Theme 01 Dot Flac" plays and transitions to "Boom Chuk A Boom". We see someone, apparently Wood Man, scrawl a letter:
"you are invited -woodman >:]

We then see Takane reading the letter as the gang drives off in a pink van.]
Takane: It sure was nice of Woodman to invite us to his mansion for the night.
Joke-Explainer: Who knew the success of Woodman's film would allow him to buy this mansion!
Wolfgirl: I hope master-senpai-senpay Woodman-san-chan— [punches self in the face] Allows maids— I mean... faithful doggies into his manor as well.
...It's very dark out.
Heavy: Hmmm.
Minion: Mhhh.
["BGM #7" plays. The gang arrives at Wood Man's mansion. Unbeknownst to them, a familiar beastly figure peeks out from behind a second-floor window...]
[Wood Man opens the door.]
Wood Man: nice
oh hey takane, more visitors i assume?
come in guys, come in.
["BGM #8" plays. Wood Man welcomes his guests in. A lavish portrait of John Notwoodman hangs above the fireplace.]
Wood Man: try and find a seat, i've had quite a few guests today.
[We pan across a row of other guests as Wood Man speaks.]
Wood Man: i'm sure you guys all know jeff the killer, 2b, snatcher, Monika[actually a RED Spy wearing a mask with Monika's face], insane clown posse, whoever that guy there is [referring to HugelDude wearing a dunce cap that says "Fogurts"], nagatoro, jack and phil, paul and barry, that dog from the goosebumps intro, steve harvey, mr. bones, nagito and kanye... oh, and my good friend nosferatu.
but guys, i'm glad you're all here, but i didn-
[The phone rings]
Wood Man: oh uh hold on a second [picks up phone] hello?
Mysterious Voice: Grand Dad was such a drag. Every day he'd upload the same high quality rips from the same games, use the same kind of memes... [Wood Man sweats heavily.] Yeah, he was just that kind of guy. But then--
[Wood Man hangs up. The music resumes.]
Wood Man: heh wrong number, what the h*ck was that lol.
[We see Takane reading in bed. Joke Explainer is plugged into an outlet on the other side of the room.]
Takane: Was nice of Woodman to take us to our rooms, huh, Joke Explainer? I hope having all these guests isn't too much trouble for him.
[We suddenly hear the Howie scream. Joke Explainer sparks off into the air, while Takane is initially oblivious. "It Approaches" plays.]
Takane: [after a long pause] Huh, what was that noise?
There are two references to HugelDude's series Fogurts: one of the guests at Wood Man's mansion, and the book Takane reads in bed (which also has "HUGELDUDE IS EPIC" written on the spine).
This video was later included as an video embed on Twitter by Wood Man, a day after the video's release.[3]
