"The Turntable Turnabout - SiIvaGunner: King for Another Day" is a high quality rip of "The Turntable Turnabout" from SiIvaGunner: King for Another Day. It represents the King for Another Day Tournament contender Law & Disorder.

Jokes[]

This is a cover of "Money" by Mystery Skulls, best known from the Ace Attorney-themed fan animation "The Turntable Turnabout" by MysteryBen27. Ace Attorney sound effects and the "Get those hands up!" samples from "Epic" are interspersed throughout. At 0:38, 1:31, and 2:33, the arrangement quotes the Danganronpa series theme.

Visuals[]

This arrangement is accompanied by a simple animation based on the standard thumbnail for Law & Disorder's arrangements.

The video begins with a fade in from black. Initially, the tournament logo and the character art's background shapes are absent, and return with a fade to white at the start of the first verse. From the first verse on, Phoenix and Monokuma's heads bob to the beat a la the original "The Turntable Turnabout" video. At 1:07, the video fades to black; when it returns, Phoenix has his shades and blue highlights from "The Turntable Turnabout" (which is inspired by DJ PON-3 from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic), while Monokuma has a pair of shutter shades that matches the colors of his eyes.

Trivia[]

  • This rip's thumbnail was changed at some time prior to January 8, 2020; the original thumbnail was a slightly darker version of the standard Law & Disorder thumbnail, most likely accidentally taken from the fade to black at 1:07.
Slightly Darker
  • In January 2021, the creator of the original "The Turntable Turnabout" animation, MysteryBen27, commented saying, "I have no idea why it took me so long to run into this but I wish I found it sooner". This comment was hearted and pinned by SiIvaGunner.
  • Apparently, Monokuma's shutter shades are a nod to how the judge in Turntable Turnabout sported the same kind of shades, which Jp confirmed.
  • An interesting note is that unlike the animation, Phoenix's highlights and shades come after the first chorus rather than when it begins.
