"Welcome, figments of the imagination. Welcome… to a terrifying reality."
―The Voice, to Smol Nozomi, Meta Knight, and Santa Claus

The Voice Inside Your Head, also called The Gay Mexican-Ass in My Ass by Chad Warden, is a mysterious entity that hates anime and particularly "Snow halation". He is an original creation of the SiIvaGunner channel, and serves as the main antagonist of the lore in the main universe, appearing in both SilvaGunner: Rebooted and The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis.

Unlike the vast majority of SiIvaGunner characters, the Voice does not have any particular leitmotif or sources associated with him. His presence on the channel is almost entirely exclusive to lore videos, aside from a few sketch-based rips where his traits are played less seriously, like "Pause - Garry's Mod" and "Opening - Hatred". In the description of "YTPMV++ ANNOUNCEMENT", the Voice mentions that he is not interested in making rips, which could explain the lack of music associated with him.

The Voice is implicitly referenced by the title and lyrics of "voiceless", which has been featured in several rips on the channel. However, the track is itself only used for a battle with Angry Joe in "An Acrimonious Assault". The melody briefly appears in the presence of the Voice during "One Last Chance", as it is incorporated into the background music for the battle between him and the other Figments, though the track is cut off a few seconds before the "voiceless" melody finishes.

He also took over the channel itself in the beginning of The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis, up until the first Inspector Gadget Takeover. During that time, he had the catchphrase "I order you to read the channel description", contrasting with SiIvaGunner's usual polite catchphrase. The album The Voice's Highest Quality Video Game Rips compiles rips from tenure as channel host, although the album itself was released by Haltmann.

Characteristics[]

The Voice origin

The original artwork which inspired the Voice's physical appearance.

As there were no visuals other than text in SilvaGunner: Rebooted, the Voice was at first simply a voice. In Pokemon Grand Dad Version, his sprite was a silhouette of the normal trainer sprite. His true appearance was first seen on the channel in "Prologue - The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis". Outside of the channel, it was foreshadowed in a bonus image included in GilvaSunner's Highest Quality Video Game Rips: Volume 7: Part mm2wood and appeared in the background of a tweet by @GiIvaSunner. The design is based on fan artwork posted on Reddit by user tammy-hell during SilvaGunner: Rebooted.[1][2]

The Voice physically resembles a pitch-black silhouette of a man, but with a pyramid for a head and a single glowing purple "eye" in the middle. In videos where he is given a speaking role, he is voiced by the text-to-speech voice Graham (UK English) from Acapela Box, and all of his dialogue is rendered in a pixel font (usually Perfect DOS VGA 437 Win, sometimes Px437 VGA SquarePx). He always presents himself as being polite and reasonable, and is often willing to negotiate with others. He ends up making deals with Chad Warden, Wood Man, and Haltmann, although he falls short on returning his end of the deal in Haltmann's case.

He notably has a deep distaste for anime. He calls anime songs "weeaboo idol shit", and his main goal is purging all anime from the SiIvaGunner channel. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is usually an exception to this, which he justifies by saying it's "manime" rather than anime. He has rarely not made this exception, such as in "DK Rap (Anniversary Edition) - Donkey Kong 64". In "Game Over - Dat Boi: Dat Game", he states that he might hate frogs more than anime, though this has yet to come up again.

History[]

SilvaGunner: Rebooted[]

Wood Man and the Voice

The Voice presenting his contingency plan to Wood Man, as seen in the rip "Main Theme (Origin) - Mighty No. 9".

Using the community discourse generated by the fans' dislikes of "Snow halation" rips and Chad Warden's fake "Megalovania" videos calling out said fans,[3][4] the Voice rebooted the SiIvaGunner channel and replaced the channel's three main memes with alternates. He then appeared before Chad, who was confused about the reboot, and proposed several other alternate universes to him before settling on a deal: he would merge the two universes, bringing back the old channel memes while keeping the new reboot memes, but he would exclude "Snow halation" from the new merged universe.

In the original ending of the story arc, Chad accepts this deal. However, in the Reboot ARGs, after being defeated by Chad in Pokemon Grand Dad Version, the Voice says that he doesn't really care about the community discourse and that an entity more powerful than him was more responsible for the reboot than he was. After finishing with the ARG, the true ending was released, in which Chad sacrifices himself to save "Snow halation" using the power of The MF Like Button, and seemingly brought the Voice down with him.

While Chad's sacrifice defeated him temporarily, the Voice had secretly created Wood Man during the reboot to keep the idea of himself alive as a figment.

The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis[]

The Voice came back for the 2016 holiday season and took over Grandiose City, where SiIvaGunner lives. The Voice uses a program created by Wood Man to bring several figments to the real world and captures them all except for Smol Nozomi. In "Seasonal Return", he kills the Cinderella Girls from THE iDOLM@STER on-screen as a warning to the populace. He then promises to destroy all "weeaboo anime bullshit".

Even though he hates the song, as seen in "YOU can join the fight! - A Recruitment Video from The Voice", he does allow "Snow halation" to be used in rips. This is because "Snow halation" generates a lot of Christmas Spirit, a substance used by Santa Claus which the Voice intends to use in destructive weapons.

In "No Place To Hide", he made a promise to President Haltmann, one of his minions, something to do with his daughter.

In "Timbre of a Kazoo", he is ousted by Gadgetini Clone 2.0, a robot created by Wade L.D. for Haltmann, who then takes over the channel before being superseded by Haltmann himself.

In "I Love Her", the Voice is able to communicate to JustinRPG through the intercom in the lab, though his whereabouts are not revealed.

In "One Last Chance", the Voice kills President Haltmann with a strong electric shock when he decides to betray the Voice. He then summons Smol Nozomi, Meta Knight, and Santa to his office, where they unsuccessfully fight him. Even after the heroes receive backup from the imprisoned figments and Grand Dad lands a solid punch on him, the Voice blasts Grand Dad away with a laser gun, leaving a smoldering hole the shape of his head in the window, and corners the heroes. He claims to want to take Nozomi alive to generate a great amount of Christmas Spirit. While he holds everyone at gunpoint, Santa hints at SiIvaGunner's awakening, making the Voice nervous for the first time.

In the secondary universe[]

In the King for Another Day Tournament, the Voice appeared in the (presumably non-canon) shitpost rip "The Hobart Hootenanny - SiIvaGunner: King for Another Day", in a graphic depicting him walking on a beach with HOBaRT.

He was also referenced by name at the very end of the King for Another Day Tournament MOJO!! post "Harder to Believe – Adam Levine Interview", where Unregistered HyperCam 2 points out that his name is the same as the talent show The Voice; However, Meowth says they shouldn't talk about the Voice since it would make things confusing for "the fans".

The Voice attended Wood Man's Halloween House Party (ft. David S. Pumpkins), wearing a "riding dinosaur" costume and conversing with Hard Rock Joe; his presence in the party was explained as David S. Pumpkins disregarding continuity for the event.[5]

Other events[]

In the alternate "genocide" ending of SilvaGunner: Rebooted, uploaded as part of the SilvaGunner: Rebooted 1st Anniversary event, Chad kills both "Snow halation" and the Voice to take over the channel for himself.

In "Prologue (Beta Mix) - The SiIvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis", the Voice's plans to bring the figments to the real world and mechanize Grandiose City are halted when he guesses the password to SiIvaGunner's computer wrong.

In "Seasonal Return [Episode 1] (Beta Mix)", the Voice's plans are again halted by an unexpected force; this time, he is defeated and arrested by members of the Three Moons Initiative.
