"The Weight of the World - NieR: Automata" is a high quality rip of "The Weight of the World" from NieR: Automata.
Jokes[]
The rip is a mashup of "Gangnam Style" and "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth, in reference to the latter replacing the former as the number one most-viewed video on YouTube. At 1:27, the vocals from the advertised track enter the song, and do so again multiple times. At 3:46, "Reset" from Ōkami enters the rip briefly. At 5:20, samples from an interview of John Cena where Cena talks about "Gangnam Style" appear.[1] At 5:34, 2B laments, "It always... ends like this...".
Visually, the rip's video contains several references to NieR: Automata's E ending, as indicated by the subtitle "The [E]nd of Style" and the title screen shown in the rip. At 1:21, subtitles parodying a segment in the game appear:
The familia program has initiated a purge.
If this continues, your style data will likely be deleted.
Artist 0P to Artist F7.
We were created to execute the corporation's Project Furious plan.
But when we familia and gentlemen were connected and exchanged information, something... happened.
I cannot deny the feeling of something resembling comradery and fellowship being born.
Unable to reply.
At the end of the rip, the phrase "PSY's data has been lost" appears in reference to the credits sequence in Ending E.
