"If you're trying to deliberately avoid using "e", you're making it hard for yourself. It's the natural language, ok?"
―The numberphile in "Tutorial - Bad Tsunko no Doki Doki Omikuji".

The numberphile is a character appearing in the e∩Ω story arc on the SiIvaGunner channel. He is a fusion of James Grime as he appears in "e (Euler's Number)" and the rapper Jay Eazy as he appears in a promotional TikTok video for "Mega Man".

Description[]

The numberphile is a man of "very short stature" according to "Main Theme - 9:05". He resembles James Grime from the waist up, wearing the same collared shirt he wore in "e (Euler's Number)", while from the waist down he wears Jay Eazy's sweatpants as seen in the promotional video for "Mega Man".

The numberphile lives in a white void where he interacts with a floating screen, which he uses to occasionally schedule rips based on the number in their title. He has the ability to summon "e" tiles, which can can be used as a portal to travel in and out of the void, or instantly crumple or disintegrate anything they come into contact with.

In e∩Ω[]

The numberphile is the primary antagonist of e∩Ω, along with his co-conspirator Charlie, The Steak.

As revealed in "The Problem - e" and "Car Doors of Time ~ Side Story - Mr Rental: The Video Game", he would recieve an email from Susie on June 28, 2024. This e-mail warned him of his imminent demise and included instructed him on how he could gain a chance at revival. In response, numberphile would upload the rip "Premonition (OST Version) - Undertale", which featured the promised date of 13/10 at the end.

After Gegagedigedagedago accidentally stumbled into his domain and bumped into him in "Sand Canyon 1 (Sigma Mix) - Kirby's Dream Land 3", he began to antagonize him and his friends starting with the rip "Waterfall (Short Mix) - Undertale". In this rip, Omega Crab Lays is teleported inside the numberphile's coordinate plane, where he schedules rips for the channel. Omega Lays would try to communicate with the numberphile by singing "Cotton Eye Joe", but the former is killed and teleported back to the Omega world when the latter throws an "e" tile towards him.

On October 13, 2024, the "promised date" arrives and the rip "Main Theme - 9:05" is uploaded as the numberphile travels to the 9:05 universe. In this universe, he steals a golden watch from the game's protagonist and stops it at exactly 9:30 AM, thereby completing the instructions given to him in Susie's email. In the rips "Intro Cutscene - Bad Tsunko no Doki Doki Omikuji" and "Tutorial - Bad Tsunko no Doki Doki Omikuji", he chases Pochi, Pandaba and Tsunko before killing Pandaba by dropping an "e" tile onto him. He then meets Charlie and convinces him to work for him by gifting him one of his "e" tiles. Charlie then throws the "e" tile gifted to him to Tsunko, which kills her as well.

Charlie and The numberphile would once again meet in the rip "Gameplay - Charlie, The Steak", where Charlie creates a portal to the coordinate plane by using an "e" tile from the rip "Gameplay - 2048". Within the coordinate plane, The numberphile reveals his plans to kill Gegagedigedagedago and the Omegas to Charlie, who laughingly agrees with the nefarious scheme. In the rip "Tsurupettan (Beta Mix) - Umineko no Naku Koro ni", he arms himself with "e" tiles and equips the golden watch he stole in "Main Theme - 9:05" in preperation for the climactic showdown against the Omegas.

The final battle finally arrives in "Golden Ratio - e", where Gegagedigedagedago and the Omegas use an "e" tile to enter the coordinate plane. A long battle then breaks out, with The numberphile throwing "e" tiles at the Omegas and summoning three clones of himself from the "Main Theme - Manhole-e" to fight the Omegas. In the heat of the battle, The numberphile summons Red from Larve as backup against the Omegas. This angers Charlie, who betrays The numberphile be throwing an "e" tile at Red. With all of his allies removed from the battlefield, The numberphile engages Gegagedigedagedago in a Friday Night Funkin'-style rap battle. He loses this rap battle, which results in his death and Gegagedigedagedago entering a stupor due to the fact he was forced to take The numberphile's life.

In "The Problem - e" and "The Solution - e", the Omegas found the e-mail sent to him by Susie and used the golden watch found on his corpse to forward 9S' message to Eggnog on January 31st, 2017 at exactly 9:30 AM (PST). Afterwards, Susie would send the Omegas another message telling them that it wasn't t0o late to save The numberphile and that he may get a second chance at life. This caused Gegagedigedagedago to snap out of his depressive stupor before leaving to host his Gedagsgiving feast.

The Numberphile was formally revived in "News of Jay's Death - The Ignition Factor". Gegagedigedagedago and the Roasted Chicken travel to hell and meet up with Numberphile's ghost. The two reconcile their differences and Gegagedigedagedago uses an "e" tile to create an infinite staircase, which Numberphile gets on to revive himself. Numberphile leaves, giving Gegagedigedagedago and the Roasted Chicken another "e" tile they can use to teleport back home.
