"Thick Of It" is a song by KSI featuring Trippie Redd. It is also a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

Summary[]

"Thick Of It" is the second collaborative song by KSI and Trippie Redd and it was released alongside the song "Low" by KSI on October 3, 2024. A music video for the song was also released on the same day. This song was received negatively, likely due to it releasing amidst a controversy KSI was in with his company Lunchly. Despite (or perhaps because of) this, it did manage to hit charts in some countries. The song would become one of the biggest memes of the year, with many parodies and remixes of "Thick Of It" being made.

Rips[]

The song first appeared on the channel in the rip "Boss Fight (OST Mix) - Baby Felix Halloween". After that, it would make three minor appearances between November and December 2024.

The song would then be heavily utilized during Christmas 2024 due to its preexisting meme status on the Internet as well as it having a minor ice/snow theme (particularly in the music video and the sampling of "Snow (Hey Oh)" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers). The event's album, Thickmas, references the prominence of the source during the event in its name and cover.

During Season Mine, "Thick Of It" was one of the many sources that Stingy had claimed. A handful of rips also include references to "Burning Desires" from Zenless Zone Zero, usually referencing the rip "Burning Desires - Zenless Zone Zero".

The Susie ARG[]

During The Susie ARG, several context clues hint that "Thick Of It"'s prominence on the channel was either directly or indirectly orchestrated by Noaka, a digital figment manifested by members of the Official SiIvaGunner Fan Server. These include; the pun "Masato Noakamura" being listed as the composer for the rip "Casino Night Zone (Beta Test) - Sonic the Hedgehog 2", a video featuring KSI within the Haltmann Works Co. Internal Database Portal's secret NOAKA folder, a heavily compressed piano cover of the song being used as the background music for the game Flappy Noaka and Noaka itself name-dropping "Thick Of It" in the Haltmann's Archives log "What A Stands For (FILE-INT-NOAKA)" (also contained within the NOAKA folder).
