"TiK ToK" is a song by American singer-songwriter Kesha. It is also a minor meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

History

"TiK ToK" was released as the first single from Kesha's debut album, Animal, on August 7, 2009. The song debuted at number 79 on the Billboard Top 100 chart for the week ending October 24, 2009. It would go on to reach number 1 on the chart on January 2, 2010, staying on top for 9 consecutive weeks before it was overtaken by "Imma Be" by The Black Eyed Peas.

"TiK ToK"'s first appearance was in the rip "Shangri-La Shower (NOZOMI Mix) - Love Live! School idol festival", uploaded on June 9, 2016. It appeared occasionally after that, until Season 7, in which usage of the song increased noticeably.

"TiK ToK" is sometimes paired with "Evacuate the Dancefloor" by Cascada and (more commonly) "Whine Up", in reference to "TikTok Up the Dancefloor" by DJ Ryson, a mashup of the 3 songs.
