Unlike all of the Beta Mixes of Sonic CD's soundtrack, the music is remade as if it's being played using the game's RedBook audio as opposed to being composed within the limitations of the Sega Genesis.

- This rip was made three years before Hidden Palace's reveal of the game's December 4, 1992 prototype; while "Tidal Tempest Past" wasn't present in that build, "Palmtree Panic Past" originally used RedBook audio, similarly to this rip.
