Summary

"Underground BGM" is the first arrangement of "Underground" from Super Mario Bros. that appear on his third sequeal game, Super Mario Bros. 3. Just like his origin song, "Underground BGM" is also another level theme that plays during the undergrounds levels, it also plays during the bonus rooms, the warp pipes and the main levels of Dark Land. Later on the song was reused for the games Super Mario Maker and Super Mario Maker 2 in Super Mario Bros. 3-styled Underground levels, as well appearing in Paper Mario: Color Splash under the Super Mario Bros. 3 portion of Green Energy Plant.
