Wade L.D. is an original character of the SiIvaGunner channel. He served as the main protagonist of "The Life and Times of Wade L.D.", a side story of The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis. He is voiced by CaptainComedy.

Wade L.D. is a Waddle Dee. In the Kirby series, Waddle Dees are a native species of Planet Popstar and serve as both enemies and friendly NPCs. Wade L.D. wears a green cap, but otherwise looks the same as other Waddle Dees. He has a wife, Wanda, and a son, Jimmy. Nothing much known from his past before of the episode. He shown to be supportive with his family, resulting into him being hided from the Haltmann Works Company in order to able to financially help his family, especially Jimmy.

However, by the events of the episode, Wade became more overwhelmed, due to the tasks that his boss, President Haltmann, asked him to do, as well as dealing with his co-workers, whom he demonstrated disliking them. This also meant that he was unable to help his son, especially with his illness, and he was unable to return home to visit his family. This even caused his wife, Wanda, to confront him about it. During the events of the episode, he would meet a mysterious woman, who later revealed herself to be 2B from NieR: Automata.

Through the conversation between them, Wade learns about Grandiose City's limbo state and how the Haltmann Works Company can make money indefinitely from it. 2B tries to help Wade escape from the limbo, but this results in both of them being chased by the police and Wade's co-workers, and ending up in the Red Dead Dimension. By the end, Wade decides that 2B should escape from the portal alone, leaving him with his spear to sacrifice himself. After the connection was lost, it was reported that he was presumed dead, with his job being rehired.

It was confirmed by the SiIvaGunner contributor Smoky that because he was in the Red Dead Dimension (a work of fiction), Wade was not truly killed.^[1] It is unknown what happened to Wade after the events of the episode.

In The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis[]

Wade L.D. debuts in the episode "The Life and Times of Wade L.D.", a side story of The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis. Due to the events that occurred during the episode, it was his last major appearance in the series. He would make a brief cameo appearance in the 11th episode, "One Last Chance", as he appears twice on one of the screens in the background during The SiIva A.I. battle.

Aside from his main appearance, Wade D.L. also appeared as a cameo during the SGFR event, RIP², appearing in the season 2 thumbnail of the event's main playlist. In the "Super Mario All-Stars Music - SMB2 Overworld" rip, he was briefly mentioned during the comments for the episode.

Wade L. D.'s name is a pun on Waddle Dee, the name of his species.
Wade L.D. shares similarities with the Kirby character, Bandana Waddle Dee. This is clearer when both of them use spears as their main weapon.
