"Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae)" is the debut single by the American rapper Silentó. The song gained a lot of popularity and eventually became a meme. On SiIvaGunner, it first appeared on May and July 2016. The song later got an event day on the channel on July 11, 2017.

Ellen DeGeneres

The song became a small meme when presidential candidate Hillary Clinton performed the dance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show during a commercial break in 2015. CNN published an article about the event and tweeted on the CNN Politics Twitter account:

"Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" first appeared on the channel with the rip "Edopolis (Beta Mix) - Cartoon Network Speedway" on May 30, 2016. The song was then in the rip "When I Wait for the Wind - Kanon" on July 7, 2016.

On April, 2017, it made an appearance in the video "Tong-Nou Theme (Opening Cutscene) - Eastern Mind: Lost Souls of Tong-Nou". The rip featured the video "Happy Whip And Nae Nae Year!" starring Silentó.

Following the break after the original "The four horseman of the apocalypse" video's upload, the channel began uploading rips incorporating "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)".
