Jokes[]
After 5 seconds, the logo fades out, and the rip becomes a spoof of a TheBestGamers ROCKCOCK64 review, with "COCKBLOCK64" reviewing Undertale, referencing how the advertised track is used as the intro music for TheBestGamers.
After said review ends at 10:55, a "Play It Loud" Nintendo commercial plays, with TheBestGamers references edited in. The music video contains flashing lights and may trigger epilepsy. Suddenly, Green de la Bean interrupts said music video until the video abruptly ends.

[Fade into a spoof TheBestGamers intro with a "TheSiIvaGamers" logo and the tagline "The highest quality scrub free gaming site". The game description says "Undertale - Toby Fox - PC - Indie Retro - """"RPG""""", and the ESRB rating is eC for Early Childhood] COCKBLOCK64: Undertale… [We prematurely cut to the overall score, where the total score says:] 10/10 GAMEPLAYS [A static transition happens before we get to see the final score.] …is a long-awaited flavor-of-the-month retro indie JRPG made by Tobias Fox.[A picture of Andrew Hussie appears, then a huge crowd entering a small store, then a kid going crazy.] This game had a massive fanbase that went absolutely crazy for it when it was just released, but since then people sorta forgot about it. [Cut to the forum "An Undertale RP" with a tumbleweed rolling & chirping crickets.] What was it that made this indie gem so well-received in the beginning? At the same time, how did it fade into obscurity so quickly? [Cut to a stock photo of an old man shrugging.] Could Dunderbail actually be a…Blunderfail? [Fade to the "BlunderFail" Drawception drawing.] Let’s delve into the hole that is this game. [static] When you start the game, you take control of a young yellow Chinese boy. [Cut to a picture of Phil Fish.] Wow, I guess Colby Fox had his multi-culturalist agenda planned out from the beginning, huh. [Cut to a clip of Simon Phoenix from Demolition Man making "ching chong" sounds. The captions transcribe this as "清冲冲冲角".] [Cut to a stock drawing saying "Storytime".] The story goes like this: [static] [sped up] The fallen human gets adopted by the monster royal family and befriends their son. But then he dies and they go out to the human world together, with their souls merged, but he gets killed which made the king really mad so he goes out and gathers 6 human souls so he can go out and kill all the humans. Oh, and then the monster kid turns into a flower and tries to kill you. Oh, and there’s actually a time loop and the skeleton breaks the fourth wall a lot of times and then you kill him and then it turns out you sell your soul to the fallen human in the end leading him to kill everyone you’ve ever known. [cartoon falling sounds play, then static] Wait… Okay, that didn't sound right. Can we try again? Yeah, let's do that. [A "PRO TIP" box appears: "Undertale's deep game choices leave permanent consequences… which can be easily removed by deleting system_information_963"] [static] One day, your player character, "Chara" [represented onscreen by Dora the Explorer], climbs up a mountain, just like in Pokémon Gold [cut to footage of a bootleg Pokémon game]. But then an evil skeleton [represented by a bald kid] appears and pushes you down a hole [cut to the opening to Final Fantasy III]. You then wake up and meet like a goat… mom… thing… And then you kill her, I guess. And then you try to go on a quest to kill the evil skeleton and [cut to the intro to Rockman 8 FC] defeat the 8 robot masters to save Gotham City. …well, you already know how this goes. That's more or less all there is to the plot. Obviously, since Brony Cox didn't put much thought into this game's writing or story, I won't either. Sorry Moby. Oh, one other thing to note is that if you haven't noticed, when I picked up my copy at Funcoland, they gave me the Italian version of the game. So that brings down it a few more notches even moreso. Sotto Racconto can't do anything right. [static] Now, let's move on to the graphics. [PRO TIP: "the Steam refund offer, within two weeks of purchase & with less than two hours of playtime, applies to games and software applications on the Steam store."] Oh, but there's a huge problem though! When I turned on the game, I realized 🅱olby 🅱ox forgot to program any graphics into the game. Everything is black and white, like in Pokémon Black and White! [shows footage of Pokémon Red & Blue in black and white] This is not acceptable for a game that came out this year. [Cut to Toady One] Come on Kobe Bryant, people need graphics to see what is going on in the game. [cut to footage of Dwarf Fortress] I appreciate that we have the true cinematic experience with the framerate, but all I can see is that Obi-Wan Kenobi [cut to TobiWan] used his Kickstarter money to…do…something else [cut to someone snorting cocaine] and not actually hire an artist. I guess that’s what you’ll have to live with if you make an indie game. [record scratch] Wait, did I say indie game?!? Yeah, actually, that’s fine. [cut to footage from Don't Look Back] Indie games don’t need any graphics, as they are meant to be representative of beautifully crafted Super Genesis games from over 30 years ago that brought out all of the system’s graphical capabilities. [Cut to footage from F-Zero, Chrono Trigger, Call of Duty, and Revolution 60.] Yeah, never mind. Looking at Under Armour, I can feel the nostalgia leaving my wallet as Jewby Fox intended. The graphics get a 0 [a big red zero appears onscreen with a buzzer sound], but that’s perfect for an indie game. [static] [Cut to footage of the Thundersnail minigame.] The gameplay in Thundersnail is very engaging and unpredictable. [The screen flashes and shakes as "Star Dream (Phase 1-3) (Kirby: Planet Robobot)" by GaMetal plays.] You get control of this snail, and when you hit the button a lot, he does funny random snail stuff. Overall, I like the gameplay a lot, though I have to lower my score because your snail doesn’t get any guns to frag the other scrubs. [An explosion appears over the snail.] Oh, that’s not the gameplay? Fine. [static] The gameplay in Under the Dome is very dull and repetitive. The game gives you options in a battle to do other things, but why would you not just pick "FIGHT" every time? [cut to footage of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep] As a result, battles are just hitting one button over and over again. Wow. Woooooooow. [cut to footage of Cookie Clicker] At least Cookie Clicker counts my button presses. When it’s the enemy’s turn to attack, the game turns into Space Invaders except you’re a heart because Kony 2012 recycled assets instead of hiring artists. [Cut to a screenshot showing Undertale's files, zooming in on "UNDERTALE.exe".] Now while this sounds good and all, there’s one fatal flaw to this concept. You don’t even get to shoot anything! [PRO TIP: "buy mgs2"] You find a gun later in the game but it’s empty, and you never find any bullets to shoot people with either, making it useless. [cut to footage of Xeno Fighters R] At least in Galaga your airplane gets to shoot things. [cut to footage of Cave Story] But Cave Story can't even give you that! [Cut to footage from Touhou 6: the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.] In addition, other rail shooter games actually pose a considerable challenge. Even Underwear’s hardest boss battle looks like a complete joke compared to even mid-game bosses of other run ’n’ gun games. By the way, this is totally me playing and not a Jaimers91 video I downloaded and I'm not thanking him right now at all. Oh wait, none of this even matters in the end because there’s the option called "mercy" [cut to footage of Mercy in Overwatch], where you press a button and you instantly win the fight! Talk about a children’s game. Outside of battle, you’re locked into moving in only four directions on a flat plane. I don’t know why the game is so limited in this regard when Assassin’s Creed Revelations [cut to footage of LittleBigPlanet 2 with Sackboy dressed as Ezio], which came out on Dreamcast around five years ago, [cut to footage of Ezio in SoulCalibur V] lets you shimmy, sprint and jump around the entire place. They also introduce little puzzles as you move along, but the game just literally solves all of them for you. This game really is for babies. Overall this game does nothing gameplay wise that other games don’t already do better. [cut to clips from Mario fangames] Even Notch’s Super Mario 64 pulled off the frantic shoot em up, bullet dodging gameplay better than Fairy Tail did. When it comes to music, well… Adobe Firefox, despite rushing the game out, didn’t bother making more than like three tracks, and decided to just re-use the same ones over and over again. The entire game’s soundtrack is probably just a couple of mp3 files in a folder. [Cut to a folder with the files "gay final boss thign.mp3", "the battle song.mp3", and "walkign around the place theme.mp3".] The final boss music, "MEGA CASTLEVANIA" [a Castlevania: The New Generation box pans across the screen], is even often regarded to be the best song in the game. Let’s have a listen: ["Megalomania" from Live a Live plays, which the captions transcribe as "*NEGASYLVALUM PLAYS*". Sans falls asleep, and a Curlz MT thought bubble appears reading "(this song is boring as hell man)".] I think it's nothing special really. Needs some more reverb in my opinion. [cut to a picture of YandereDev] I don’t really think Andrew Hussie really has too much going for him composition wise. In one part of the game, you start off walking through the dark forest and then you get attacked by the evil skeleton from before. [The bald kid bounces around again.] Luckily he’s a complete joke, so you just attack him once and he dies. Don’t even think about sparing him, or else you will have a BAD TIME [A corny laugh track plays, which the captions transcribe as "(funny)". The screen zooms in on Papyrus' severed skull as Loud Nigra screams.] [static] The characters in this game feel like they came out of a children's tv show [cut to footage of Steven Universe]. For example, the very first character you see in this game is called "Flowey the Flower". Yes. "Flowery the Flower". He’s the friendly tutorial character who helps you and sticks around the entire game - but that’s what they decided to call him? Other standouts include Lisa from The Simpsons [cut to Alphys], Metadon the gay robot [cut to Metatron in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse], and sand undertale from EarthBound [cut to the Undertale logo in front of some sand]. [static] There have also been multiple concerns about this game ripping off things from other games and shows. [Cut to a silhouette of Ness with a question mark, as "Pollyana" plays.] This game’s quirky, oddball sense of humor and surreal style bear an almost striking resemblance to a cult classic Nintendo JRPG series, Spanning three different systems known for those exact same traits… Tony Hawk’s Underground 2. Yeah, I mean just look at the two. They’re pretty much exactly ali- [static] Also in the part where you go fight against the robot transexual fashion dude, the flamboyant, exaggerated poses he makes during the fight are clearly taken from the famous Japanese manga and anime series, "Angry Joe’s Really Weird Journey". [Cut to footage of Shingo Sawatari.] …wow… Anime is fucking gay. [static] One other glaring flaw in this game is a lack of a level editor. Other indie games such as Super Mario Maker and Fez [cut to footage of VVVVVV] have almost infinite replayability due to their extensive level creators, where players can share their creations for others all around the world to play Wunderwale’s base level pack is full of long, boring corridors filled with nothing in them. [The caption "INNOVATIVE WORLD DESIGN" fades in with chirping crickets.] For such an acclaimed indie title such as LISA, Courtney Cox really blew it to not even include basic features such as this into the game. [static] [A "funny meme counter" appears.] Hey gamers! Let’s see how many funny memes are in this game! [The counter "counts up" various random objects and characters, ending with the entire screen.] Hey look at that! Ooohhh I know that one! That’s the one from that one anime with the thing! Phil Fish really knocked it out of the park with integrating popular internet culture and jokes in this game. It’s really like I’m browsing le epic Reddits [the Reddit logo spins around] with the top boats [an arrow flies by] and the upboats [a boat slides by]! Great work, MtH! [The captions transcribe this as "Great work, Ken Ashcorp!"] I'm glad I know when to laugh at old, predictable jokes instead of original jokes. [MrMrMANGOHEAD's icon fades in.] [static] [Cut to "Humantale" fanart.] I will say that where this game really shines is with its representation of minority groups in society. It’s great that I can finally relate to fellow… [reading off the "Ask Humantale" blog's header] Transmasculine, demiromantic pansexu- [COCKBLOCK64 breaks down into laughter. The captions transcribe this as: "(funny)" " (lol)" "(Steve Harley)" "(Steve Harlet)"] [static] In conclusion, UNDERTALE fucking sucks and is a shitty indie game made for children. [Cut to the final score:] 0/10 GAMEPLAYS [Cut to a "Play It Loud" Nintendo commercial intercut with "THEBESTGAMERS", "THEBESTGAMERS.NET", "CHECK OUT THE FORUMS!", and screenshots of the TheBestGamers forum. The commercial ends with us getting Beaned.] |

- COCKBLOCK64's avatar is a parody of ShonicTH's profile picture.
- The Pro Tip at 4:56 reads "buy mgs2", a reference to Solid STRGG.
- The narrator mentions MtH at 10:00. The captions say "Ken Ashcorp" instead of "MtH", which is a joke previously used in "#420AnnounceIt".
- At 2:22, the "2" from the box art of Call of Duty 2 appears. "2" was an ongoing joke in every The Best Gamers review. After first appearing in this rip, it became an inside joke in the SiIvaGunner backroom.[3][4] It was referenced later in "Rick the Hamster - Kirby's Dream Land 2"
- This rip can be found in the Undertale playlist.
- The "Sand Undertale" joke was previously used in "sans. (Beta Mix) - Undertale".
- The mention of "needs more reverb" is a reference to the Kingdom Hearts reverb joke which originated from "The 13th Struggle - Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories".[5]
- "Anime is fucking gay" is an running joke between Shonic and his friends.[6]
- The joke was also used in "This Is Halloween - Kingdom Hearts II" and "Nozomi - Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories".
- The subtitles say "Steve Harley" and "Steve Harlet" at 10:33, referencing the "Steve Harvey" minor meme.
- The jab at MrMrMANGOHEAD references the backlash against him among the SiIvaGunner community for his low-effort meme edits, which was also the subject of "A "Hard Day's Work" - Mr Rental: The Video Game".
- ROCKCOCK64 commented saying, "this is a pretty good video game sound trakc". This was pinned and hearted by SiIvaGunner.
- They added this rip to their "Favorites" playlist.[7]
