History[]
Since "Yell "Dead Cell"" is not a sequenced song, NBGMusic created this rip completely using samples. In the video "the nutshack theme but the first nutshack is replaced with me ending the channel", Chaze the Chat mentions this rip when discussing NBGMusic, stating "I was blown away [by that rip], I was like "That game isn't sequenced. What are you doing?" ... it was incredible! I was so surprised, it was awesome!".[1]
This rip was originally uploaded on the GiIvaSunner channel on March 2, 2016.[2][3][4][5][6][7] The original upload was titled "Yell Dead Cell - Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty" (without the quotation marks). Its description listed "Composer:" (sic) as "Norihiko Hibino, Harry Gregson-Williams", and "Platform:" as "PS2".
It was re-uploaded on the SiIvaGunner channel on April 12, 2016, now with quotes in the title. According to edits on this wiki, the SiIvaGunner version's description originally said "Platform: Playstation 2, Playstation 3", which was apparently changed to "Platform: PlayStation 2" sometime between July 30, 2017 (the time of the edit that added the video description) and September 10, 2017 (the time of this edit).
