History

ytp4life joined YouTube under his current account on November 30, 2010. Since then, he has created 22 alternate channels, where he posts content similar to the content on his main channel. He has also created several SoundCloud accounts under the username "dj fruitsnacks". His content usually consists of YTP's, YTPMV's, and mashups.

YTP4LIFE CRYING

On May 18, 2012, a video was uploaded to YouTube titled "YTP4LIFE CRYING", which showed a distraught ytp4life crying because several of his YouTube accounts had been hacked by "kid".

The "kid" in question was DerpyEnzyme, better known nowadays as Marlon, who left the following comment on the video, regarding the events leading up to the creation of said video:

"he was being really fucking anoying and i knew his password (mariomario)

ytp4life as he appears in "YTP4LIFE CRYING".

i closed and stole like most of his accounts then on one of his accounts that i forgot he posted a video of him saying like 'haha i changed my password you are not getting in this one haha' (he changed it to mariomario1) i closed that one too

then he uploaded this vid of him crying then i gave back the ones i stole of him because i felt bad for him"

Since the channel that hosts this video, named "ytp4lifeCRYING", is not listed as any of ytp4life's alternate channels, it is most likely that the version of this video that is currently on YouTube is a re-upload and the original upload has since been removed by ytp4life.

7 GRAND DAD mashups

After Vinesauce Joel played 7 GRAND DAD on his stream, ytp4life started making mashups using the music from the title screen of the game, and the recording of Joel's voice. According to Chaze the Chat, most of these mashups were low quality. They annoyed him, and a few other people on SoundCloud, who decided to make higher-quality melodyswaps using the Flintstones theme as a source, to spite him/as an in-joke among themselves. It was these soundcloud users who eventually created the first GilvaSunner channel, and thought of its bait-and-switch nature.

History of Grand Dad

On April 24, 2016, ytp4life posted a recording titled "History of Grand Dad" on SoundCloud, where he explains, from his perspective, how he created the 7 GRAND DAD meme and how he should be given some credit for it. His statements were later confirmed to be true by Chaze the Chat.

Originally, ytp4life's rants would be featured in the first track of every non-themed album as an acknowledgement of how he inspired the channel's creation.
